AFS is back at the Vidiots Eagle Theatre for a 35mm screening of 20 Million Miles to Earth on Sunday, September 14 at 3:00 PM. The film arrived two years after It Came From Beneath the Sea, and predates the early ’60s Harryhausen classics Mysterious Island and Jason and the Argonauts.While today the film may be approached as camp or schlock ’50s science fiction, it’s nonetheless a major film making achievement. Tickets are available now at the Vidiots Eagle Theatre website.

The film will be introduced by our own animation expert Frank Gladstone, who will offer insights into Harryhausen’s craft and share anecdotes from the time he spent with the famous special effects master.
